EnerJex Resources, Inc. (Stock Symbol: ENRJ) is a domestic onshore oil company with producing assets located in Eastern Kansas and South Texas. The Company was transformed at the beginning of 2011 through a comprehensive transaction that included a complete reconstitution of its board of directors and management team, a recapitalization of its balance sheet, and the acquisition of assets in a new core operating area.

EnerJex is focused on the acquisition and development of shallow oil properties that have low production decline rates and offer abundant drilling opportunities with low risk profiles. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had 2.7 million barrels of proved oil reserves and 1.3 million barrels of probable oil reserves, and it has identified hundreds of low risk development drilling locations on its existing acreage.

El Toro Project

EnerJex's El Toro Project is located in Atascosa and Frio Counties in Texas, just south of San Antonio in the heart of one of the most productive oil regions in the world. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned an average working interest of 46% in 5,600 acres.

Mississippian Project

EnerJex's Mississippian Project is located in Woodson and Greenwood Counties in Southeast Kansas, where the Company owned a 90% working interest in 3,000 acres as of December 31, 2011. In addition, EnerJex has an agreement in place to acquire a 90% working interest in approximately 1,300 adjacent acres upon fulfilling certain drilling milestones related to its existing acreage.

Rantoul Project

EnerJex's Rantoul Project is located in Miami and Franklin Counties in Eastern Kansas, where the Company owned an average working interest of 81% in 1,700 acres as of December 31, 2011. This project produces oil from the Squirrel formation at a depth of 600 feet. EnerJex drilled and completed 75 new wells in its Rantoul Project during 2011 with a 100% success rate.
